It\u2019s hard to believe that Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> has been around for almost a decade. With its 9th anniversary coming up, a special event is planned for all Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> Trainers to participate in.<\/p>\n

The party starts on July 1, at 10am and runs through until July 6, 2025, at 8pm local time.<\/p>\n

    Event Bonuses<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Increased chance to become Lucky Friends.<\/li>\n
    • Increased chance to get Lucky Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> in trades.<\/li>\n
    • Pok\u00e9Stops may turn gold without a Golden Lure Module.<\/li>\n
    • Increased chance to encounter Shiny Pikachu wearing a cake hat and Shiny Eevee wearing a party hat from raids.<\/li>\n
    • Gimmighoul holding a 9th anniversary coin will have a 9th anniversary Special Background.<\/li>\n
    • Friendship levels will increase faster than normal through opening Gifts, trading Pok\u00e9mon, <\/em>or battling together in raids, Gyms, or Trainer Battles.<\/li>\n
    • Chance of finding 9 or 99 (or maybe more) Gimmighoul Coins when you spin a Pok\u00e9Stop with a Golden Lure Module.<\/li>\n
    • During the 9th Anniversary Party, you may discover party hats in the wild. Tapping on them will award items, or encounters with event-themed Pok\u00e9mon.<\/em><\/li>\n
    • The chance to encounter a Shiny Gimmighoul.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      What\u2019s more, the 9th Anniversary Party will have further special bonuses on certain days:<\/p>\n
